Before & After

Between 2006 and 2009, the buildings at "Gallery Row" have undergone many and substantial renovations.
Headed up by George Ewing of G.E.M Fabrications Ltd. local contractors, employees and the Heritage Society of Nanaimo, the buildings have been transformed from early 20th Century buildings in poor condition, to fresh, well maintained buildings. While being substantially updated and renovated, they still maintain the old world charm and stylings which reflect the heritage that embodies downtown Nanaimo and the "Old City Quarter".
Join us for a short tour of before / during and after pictures of this exciting transformation.
